Tree and Shrub Management Programs

Treatment #1. Winter (December/January)

Horticultural oil: This application is applied to control certain insects that escape most insecticides.

Treatment #2. Spring (March/April)

Insecticide & Fungicide: Inspect thoroughly for a wide variety of insects and disease that commonly affect ornamental tree & shrub plantings. Controls applied as needed.

Treatment #3. Early summer (May)

Fertilizer: Custom blended slow release fertilizer to provide controlled feeding and proper nutrient levels for maximum growth and flower production all season long.

Treatment #4. Summer (June/July)

Insecticide & Fungicide: Inspect thoroughly for a wide variety of insects and disease that commonly affect ornamental tree & shrub plantings. Controls applied as needed.

Treatment #5. Late summer (August/September)

Insecticide & Fungicide: Inspect thoroughly for a wide variety of insects and disease that commonly affect ornamental tree & shrub plantings. Controls applied as needed.

Treatment #6. Fall/Late Fall (October/November)

Horticultural oil: This application is applied to control certain insects that escape most insecticides. 

Customary examinations of insect infestation for ornamental trees and shrubs will occur throughout the season and treated as needed. Some insects build resistance to certain insecticides and may not be controlled. Some species of plants are sensitive to pesticides and we may choose not to spray them.
